Motorised options are available across selected blind ranges, from powered raise and lower to tilt-only systems. Power source, movement and control options are confirmed for your chosen blind during a free home visit.
Electric blinds replace some or all of the normal manual movement with a motor, allowing the blind to be operated by remote control and, on selected systems, compatible app or hub control.
Motorisation does not mean the same thing on every product. Roller, Roman and selected Day & Night systems can provide powered raise and lower, while selected Venetian or Vertical systems may motorise tilt only. The exact movement, power source and control method depend on the blind and motor system selected.

Which blinds can be motorised?
Selected Roller, Roman, Day & Night, Pleated / Cellular, Vertical, Faux Wood, Wooden Venetian and Aluminium Venetian systems can be motorised in different ways. Perfect Fit® motorisation is product-specific. The tables above explain the available movements by product family.
Do all electric blinds raise and lower?
No. Some products provide full powered raise and lower, while others motorise tilt only. We confirm the exact movement before you order.
Are electric blinds battery powered or mains powered?
Both exist. Rechargeable battery systems are common for domestic blinds, while selected systems can use mains or hardwired power. The correct option depends on the blind, motor and installation.
Can electric blinds work with Alexa, Google Home or Apple Home?
Selected motor systems can integrate with compatible smart-home platforms through the appropriate hub or controller. We do not promise universal compatibility across every motorised blind.
Will I need an electrician?
Usually not for a self-contained rechargeable battery system. A mains or hardwired installation needs an appropriate electrical supply and may require an electrician. We confirm this at survey.
Are electric blinds child safe?
Motorisation can remove the need for an accessible manual operating loop on compatible products. The complete installation is still assessed for the correct child-safety arrangement for the selected blind and window.
