Our composite shutters are available across the core configurations below. Selected Composite ranges can accommodate additional configurations, subject to shape, dimensions and survey.
Full Height
Panels span the full height of your window for a clean, elegant look. Available with or without a mid-rail for independent upper and lower louvre control.
Café Style
Fitted to the lower half of the window only, leaving the upper section open. An elegant choice for rooms where you want privacy at street level while keeping the room bright above.
Tier on Tier
Two independently operated sets of panels — upper and lower — giving you full control over light and privacy at any time of day.
Bay Window
Composite shutters can be configured to follow a wide range of bay angles. More unusual angles may require a specialist range and will be assessed during survey.
Tracked Shutters
Bifold and bypass tracked systems ideal for large windows, patio doors, room dividers and wardrobe fronts. Panels glide effortlessly on a discreet overhead track.
Shaped Shutters

The louvre size you choose affects the character of your shutter, the quality of light in your room and the overall aesthetic. We offer three sizes across our composite shutter range.
63mm louvres
The most traditional louvre size, giving a classic shutter look with close, refined louvre spacing. Ideal for smaller windows and rooms where privacy is the priority.
76mm louvres
The most popular choice. Strikes the perfect balance between the traditional shutter aesthetic and generous light control. Works beautifully across most window sizes and interior styles.
89mm louvres
The widest louvre, letting in the most light and creating the most open, airy feel. Ideal for larger windows, open-plan spaces and modern interiors where maximising natural light is a priority.

Split Tilt and Mid Rails — What's the Difference?
As well as choosing how the louvres tilt, you can choose how the panel is controlled. It helps to see the difference rather than just read about it.
Standard Louvre Control
Louvres within the control group move together.
Mid Rail
A physical horizontal rail separates sections of the shutter panel.
Split Tilt
Separate upper and lower groups of louvres can be tilted independently within the same panel.
Tier on Tier is different again: it uses separate upper and lower shutter panels that can also be opened independently.
How it works
Tracked Bi-Fold and Tracked Bypass — What's the Difference?
Tracked shutters open in one of two ways, depending on your window or opening.
Tracked Bi-Fold
Panels fold together as they move along the track, making this configuration suitable for wide openings and large glazed areas.
Tracked Bypass
Panels slide past one another on parallel tracks, allowing wide openings to be covered without the folding stack of a bi-fold system.

How Your Louvres Are Operated
Composite shutters offer several ways to tilt the louvres for light and privacy control, from a visible centre rod to a fully concealed mechanism.
Centre Tilt Rod
A visible tilt rod positioned at the centre of the panel, used to adjust the louvres for light and privacy.
Offset Tilt Rod
A visible tilt rod positioned towards one side of the panel, creating a cleaner appearance across the front of the shutter.
Clearview (Hidden Tilt)
A rear-mounted control links the louvres while leaving the front face of the shutter visually uncluttered.
In-Stile Hidden Tilt
The operating mechanism is concealed within the shutter stile, allowing the louvres to move without a visible front or rear tilt rod.
Integrated Blackout Blind Option
Selected Composite shutter configurations can be combined with an integrated blackout blind positioned behind the shutter panels.

Composite vs Wooden vs Faux Wood — How Do They Compare?
Material — Wooden shutters are crafted from natural Paulownia hardwood. Faux Wood shutters use an engineered HSPVC construction. Composite shutters use an engineered Composite shutter material with reinforced structural components.
Moisture suitability — Composite and Faux Wood are both well suited to moisture-prone rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens. Wooden shutters are recommended for drier rooms.
Finish — Wooden offers natural wood stains and painted colours with the grain and character of real timber. Faux Wood and Composite are primarily painted finishes.
Specialist shapes — Wooden offers the broadest shaped and specialist-configuration flexibility. Selected Composite ranges can also accommodate shaped windows, subject to survey. Faux Wood shape availability varies by range.
Tracked systems — Composite offers both tracked bi-fold and tracked bypass configurations. Wooden also offers tracked options. Track availability on Faux Wood varies by range.

Warranty — Wooden shutters carry a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. Faux Wood shutters carry up to a 10-year warranty depending on range and finish. Composite shutters carry a 10-year manufacturer's warranty.
Care — All three materials are easy to keep clean with a dry cloth or damp cloth. Composite and Faux Wood are particularly practical choices for moisture-prone rooms.

10-Year Manufacturer Warranty
Our composite shutters carry a 10-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.
Minor imperfections not visible at 1.5 metres under natural light are not considered defects under the warranty.
For everyday dust: use a dry cloth or the soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. For marks and stains: a damp cloth or wet wipe is all you need. Do not use abrasive cleaning products on any shutter surface.
