Wood Grain Shutters — Natural Character with a Textured Finish
Wood Grain shutters are designed to retain a more visible textured grain appearance, creating a warmer and more natural look than a smooth painted finish — made to measure and fitted across Milton Keynes, Bedford and Luton.
Wood Grain shutters are designed to retain a more visible textured grain appearance, creating a warmer and more natural look than a smooth painted finish. They are crafted from brushed Paulownia wood — the same timber family as our Wooden Shutters range — with a brushed surface treatment that highlights the natural grain rather than covering it with a flat painted finish.
At Blinds Kingdom, we supply and fit Wood Grain shutters across Milton Keynes, Bedford and Luton. Every installation begins with a free home visit, where we bring samples, take accurate measurements and help you choose the right configuration and colour for your windows.
Why Choose Wood Grain?
Wood Grain shutters suit customers who want more visible timber character than a smooth painted shutter provides.
Visible Grain Texture
The brushed surface treatment highlights the natural grain of the wood, giving the shutter a distinctive, tactile finish rather than a flat painted surface.
A Warmer, More Natural Appearance
The grained finish brings a refined yet authentic character to a room, adding depth and visual interest in both modern and traditional interiors.
Shaped and Tracked Configurations
As well as the standard styles, Wood Grain shutters can accommodate special shapes and tracked bi-fold or bypass systems, subject to survey.
Easy to Care For
Wipes clean easily with a damp cloth, in the same way as our other shutter ranges.
5-Year Manufacturer Warranty
Every Wood Grain shutter we supply carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Louvre sizes
Louvre Sizes
Wood Grain shutters follow the same standard louvre sizing as the rest of our range. Your surveyor will confirm the best fit for your windows.
63mm louvres
The most traditional louvre size, giving a classic shutter look with close, refined louvre spacing.
76mm louvres
The most popular choice, balancing the traditional shutter aesthetic with generous light control.
89mm louvres
The widest louvre, letting in the most light and creating the most open, airy feel.
Colours and Finishes
Wood Grain shutters are offered in an extensive range of colours, from painted whites and neutrals to stained tones that let the natural grain show through, complemented by a custom colour option on request.
Painted Colours
Our surveyor brings a full sample collection to your free home visit so you can see every colour in your own light.
Stained Wood Grain Tones
These tones let the natural grain show through the finish, for the most visibly timber-like look in the range.
Custom Colour Matching
A custom colour option is available on request. Your surveyor will confirm options and any applicable surcharge during your home consultation.
The Wood Grain Finish

Wood Grain shutters are crafted from brushed Paulownia wood, with a brushed surface treatment designed to highlight the natural grain and texture of the material for a distinctive, tactile finish. It creates a refined yet authentic appearance that adds depth and visual interest, whether your interior is modern or traditional.
This is a specialist finish with more limited sample availability than our core ranges, so we recommend seeing it in person during your free home visit before deciding.
