Full-Height Wooden Shutters for Angled Bay Windows in Hinckley
Made from Paulownia wood and finished in an Ivory colour, these full-height shutters feature midrails and 89 mm louvres, fitted to the living-room bay, entrance side window, bedroom bay and second bedroom window.

The project
This project covered the front of the house: the living-room bay window, the narrow window beside the entrance door, a bedroom bay window and the second bedroom window.
What we fitted
We fitted full-height Paulownia wood shutters in Ivory with midrails and 89 mm louvres. Matching material, colour and louvre size connect the bay windows and smaller openings, with each shutter made to suit its window.
The finished result
The finished shutters give the front-facing rooms a coordinated appearance. The photographs show open louvres, different settings above and below the midrails, and bedroom panels folded back to expose the glazing. Louvre adjustment changes the balance of daylight, outlook and screening; privacy depends on the angle and lighting.
