The customer’s brief
The customer wanted to look out over the front garden with the louvres open, while retaining the option of greater privacy. The particularly tall windows at the entrance and upstairs called for a coordinated solution.
What we fitted
We fitted Paulownia wood shutters in Pure White with 89 mm louvres. The photographs show the louvres at different angles and the hinged panels folded back, giving the customer different ways to use the windows.
The finished result
The completed shutters create a consistent finish across the windows. Opening the louvres allows a view of the garden; adjusting or closing them gives greater screening. Folding the panels back opens up the view through the glazing. Privacy varies with louvre angle, viewing position and lighting.
