PVC shutters use an engineered cellular PVC construction — a lightweight construction with an internal cellular structure, engineered for strength and stability. They have a moisture-resistant finish, resist warping, cracking and discolouring, and are backed by a 10-year warranty.
This makes them suitable for selected moisture-prone rooms, such as kitchens and bathrooms, as well as other appropriate applications elsewhere in the home — final suitability depends on the window, room, configuration and survey. They are also flame retardant to UK standards, independently tested for safety and available UK-manufactured with lead times from just 3–5 weeks.

Perfect Fit Shutters — No Drilling Required
Perfect Fit Shutters are a different system from our standard framed PVC shutters. Rather than a conventional outer shutter frame with hinged panels, the Perfect Fit panel clips directly to suitable glazed uPVC window and door frames, without drilling or screwing into the window frame. The panel stays fitted to the window or door and moves with it when opened, while the louvres can still be tilted to adjust light and privacy.
Suitability depends on the glazing bead, frame and handle geometry, and is confirmed during survey.
Available in Arctic or Cotton, with a 63mm louvre, a 5-year manufacturer warranty and a typical 3–5 week lead time.

Split Tilt (Duplex), Divider Rails and Tier on Tier — What's the Difference?
PVC shutters offer more than one way to control light and privacy across a single window, and it helps to see the difference rather than just read about it.
Standard Full Height
Louvre groups operate together unless split control is specified.
Divider Rail
A physical horizontal rail separates sections where used.
Split Tilt (Duplex)
Separate groups of louvres within the same panel can tilt independently.
Tier-on-Tier is different again — it uses separate upper and lower shutter panels, not one panel split by a rail. Tier-on-Tier is not the same as Split Tilt (Duplex).

Configurations
Styles Available in PVC
Full Height
Panels running the full height of your window. Available with or without a divider rail (mid-rail), which physically separates the panel into sections where used.
Café Style
Shutters fitted to the lower section of the window can provide privacy while leaving the upper glazing uncovered. A practical choice for kitchens and bathrooms.
Tier on Tier
Two independently operated tiers, giving separate control over the upper and lower sections of the window for flexible light and privacy control.
Bay Window
PVC shutters can be fitted to suitable bay windows, including standard 90° and 135° configurations, subject to survey and specification.
Bi-Fold / Multi-Fold
For wider openings and multi-panel windows, PVC shutter panels can be arranged in hinged bi-fold and multi-fold configurations where within specification. Available configurations depend on the window and shutter layout and will be confirmed during your home consultation.

Choosing Your Louvre Size
63mm louvres
A smaller louvre size with closer spacing, creating a more detailed shutter appearance.
76mm louvres
A mid-size louvre offering a balance between the closer spacing of 63mm and the more open appearance of 89mm.
89mm louvres
A wider louvre creating a more open appearance with broader sight lines when tilted open.
How Your Louvres Are Operated
Front / Offset Tilt Bar
A slim visible tilt bar positioned toward the hinge side of the panel. Moving the bar adjusts the connected louvres together for straightforward light and privacy control.
Rear / Concealed Tilt Bar
The same tilt-bar mechanism positioned behind the shutter panel for a cleaner appearance from the front, while retaining the same connected louvre operation.
Split Tilt (Duplex)
The louvres within the same panel are divided into independently operating groups, allowing the upper and lower sections to be tilted separately for more flexible light and privacy control.
Warranty and Care
Our PVC shutters carry a 10-year manufacturer's warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use. The full warranty terms will be confirmed before ordering.
For regular care, remove dust with a soft dry cloth or suitable soft brush attachment. For marks, follow the care guidance supplied for the selected PVC shutter range and finish. Avoid abrasive cleaning products.
Colour-matched screw cover stickers are supplied with white PVC shutters where specified.
