Conservatory Roof Blinds — Comfort for Overhead Glazing
Made-to-measure pleated and cellular blinds for individual conservatory roof panels. Manage overhead sunlight and glare with electric or suitable manual systems, professionally measured and fitted.
Made for Individual Roof Panels
Conservatory roof blinds follow the separate panels of your roof glazing. Rectangular and selected shaped panels need a system suited to their dimensions, angles and fixing space.
A roof lantern is a different application: its blind fits across the opening beneath the lantern. We explain the right approach for each part of your conservatory.

Electric Operation for Everyday Convenience
Electric operation makes overhead blinds easier to adjust without reaching up to the roof. Compatible grouped controls can operate several blinds together. The available controls depend on the selected system.
Our electric conservatory roof system is wired to a transformer plugged into a mains socket. During the survey we agree the transformer location, socket access and wiring route.
Manual operation is available on suitable systems. Your advisor will explain the appropriate operating pole or crank and check that you can reach and use it comfortably.

Pleated or Cellular Fabrics?
Pleated fabric uses a single folded layer. Cellular, also called honeycomb, fabric forms air pockets that add an insulating layer at the glazing. Fabric choices vary with the roof system and panel shape.
Suitable fabrics can help soften glare and manage solar heat and heat loss. The result depends on the glazing, orientation, ventilation, fabric and coverage; we do not promise a fixed temperature reduction or energy saving.

Our conservatory roof blinds are not available in blackout fabrics.
Understand the Coverage Before You Order
Not every roof panel can necessarily be covered completely. Complex roof layouts may require several blinds, fixed infills or a combination of both. Gaps can remain near irregular edges, between blinds and around obstructions.
Your advisor will explain the proposed arrangement panel by panel, including where fabric gathers when opened and any glazing that will remain uncovered.
Moving blinds
Suitable sections open and close within the limits of their shape and system. Fabric still needs somewhere to gather.
Fixed infills
Some shaped areas may use fixed fabric sections. These remain covered and do not retract.
Gaps and uncovered areas
Available blind designs, fixing space and roof obstructions can leave areas that cannot be covered.
Survey and Professional Fitting
We assess panel dimensions, roof angles, frame construction, fixing positions, vents, opening windows, handles and access. Roof vents must be considered as part of the proposed blind layout.
Before you order, we explain which sections move, any fixed infills, expected gaps, fabric options and controls. Electric installations also need an agreed power supply and wiring route.
Once fitted, the blinds are checked through their available movement and we explain operation and care.
Your Questions Answered
Can every panel in my conservatory roof be covered?
Not always. Panel dimensions, angles, fixing space and obstructions determine which systems can be fitted. We identify any uncovered areas at survey.
Will any gaps remain?
Gaps may remain at irregular edges, between blinds or around obstructions. The proposed coverage is explained before you place an order.
Can all the blinds open?
Moving blinds open within the limits of their configuration. Fixed infills do not open, and gathered fabric can remain over part of the glazing.
Can conservatory roof blinds be electric?
Yes, on suitable systems. We give electric operation priority where it makes overhead blinds easier to use, with grouped controls where compatible.
Where will the wiring and power supply go?
The electric roof system uses a transformer plugged into a mains socket. We agree a suitable transformer position and wiring route at survey.
Can blinds accommodate roof vents?
We assess the vent position, its opening movement and the available fixing space. Not every blind layout is compatible with every roof vent.
Are blackout fabrics available?
No. Our conservatory roof blinds are not available in blackout fabrics.
How do these differ from lantern blinds?
Conservatory roof blinds fit individual roof panels. A roof lantern blind covers the opening beneath the lantern.
